Future Clinics & Current Training Sessions
Team Mamba Coaching Clinics are designed to get your child to love basketball. We focus on the basics as we believe if you hone the foundations of the game, the rest will develop positively. Our approach has demonstrated success with many of our Team Mamba players. We teach them how to feel the ball, how to dribble, pass, shoot, play defense, communicate and be mentally focused. We will step up each session and ensure they get a sense of progress that is expected.
Team Mamba Basketball Clinics to be held in the City of Mundaring/Swan areas will seek to introduce the following into the attendees:
1. Introduce sound dribbling techniques stationery, walking, run- then develop to dribbling No-eyes (without looking).
2. Introduce Feet-Stance when shooting, passing and receiving passes
3. Introduce Shooting Techniques
4. Introduce Various Passes and when to use them
5. Introduce Communication during play.
6. Introduce Mental focus strategies in practice
7. For those who have a better grasp of the game, we will introduce some techniques on how to beat your opposition with Hesi-Moves for example.
Our objectives is to develop the basics in young ballers. Strong Fundamentals is the key for playing fun and good basketball. We will have a game where they can apply the above to finish off the sessions. We want this to be as fun as educational for everyone.

Let us introduce you to Team Mamba Perth Founder and Head Coach - Avinash:
Avinash has been involved in basketball from his high school days, and has a current working with children's license. He has played and refereed competitive basketball in high school and university.
He has a very good understanding of the game and focuses on fundamentals. He is a firm believer in developing the basic foundation of each young player as a priority.
He is friendly and approachable and has built a strong rapport with young ballers in his community. In the previous year before Team Mamba had branched out, he had coached his first Team Mamba team, as well as Helena Heat to championship wins in Midland, Mundaring and Kalamunda. He founded Team Mamba in 2020 which had grown to 4 strong teams in its following season, and has coached (too many to list) Team Mamba teams since.
He has also coached Division 1 teams. His son Isaiah plays in the WABL state league, and since coaching, has bought many of the Team Mamba players being involved in WABL.
Avinash, whilst focused on a firm approach, delivers the sessions in a fun manner to encourage participation.
